The Lady Badgers traveled to Lago Vista on Friday to open up district play, and they did so with authority.
The girls started slowly in the first quarter. They led by only one point, but showed up defensively in the second eight minutes when they gave up just one point to the Lady Vikings while scoring 16 of their own. The Lady Badgers took a 24-8 lead into halftime.
