Local officers provide Lampasas veteran with generous gift

    When World War II veteran Lupe Dimas attended Thursday’s special breakfast and Veterans Day program at Lampasas Middle School, he couldn’t have known what kind of surprise was awaiting him later that morning.

    When Dimas returned to his vehicle after the program, he discovered a flat tire.
