Superintendent Rob Moore announced to the Lometa Independent School District Board of Trustees on July 19 that a girls’ volleyball team, a new sport for Lometa, had been accepted officially into UIL District 15-A for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
Lometa joins Richland Springs, Rochelle and Zephyr in that district.
