Peyton Spore and Nick Haas, both incoming juniors at Lampasas High School, played in a recent event at the San Saba River Golf Course. Both placed in the top three.
Spore came in second, shooting 76, and Haas finished third with a 80.
Both golfers figure to be important pieces for the Badger golf team over the next two years.
