The Lady Badgers are off to a good start in district play, as they beat the Gatesville Lady Hornets 7-6 on the road.
Harley Wakeman started in the circle Tuesday for the Lady Badgers. She threw a solid six innings and recorded three strikeouts, allowing only four hits and walking two batters.
