The Lady Badgers started district play about as well as they could have hoped, as they beat the Gatesville Lady Hornets 88-23 on the road.
Lampasas started strong, continued its dominance through the middle of the game and finished on top. The result was not in doubt after the first quarter, when the Lady Badgers were leading 25-9.
