Cold and flu season is here, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends getting a flu vaccine to prevent getting sick.
The vaccines are updated every year to protect against new strains of the flu virus.
According to the CDC, this year the influenza vaccine will be quadrivalent, meaning it is designed to protect against four different flu viruses.
