The Lometa Independent School District Board of Trustees met Thursday, with the main purpose being to approve the annual budget for the 2021-2022 school year. Trustees also set the tax rate for maintenance and operations costs, as well as the interest and sinking fund to cover debt service.
Board members John Hines and Amanda Tower were not present at Thursday’s meeting.
