    Local golfer wins division at junior championship tournament

    Many local golfers competed in the Tour Championship tournament held by the West Texas Junior Champions Tour on Monday and Tuesday.

    LeeAnn Parker, a 2021 graduate of Lampasas High School, won the 15-18 girls’ division by three strokes after shooting 72-74--146.

    Kenlee Turner of Lampasas finished 12th in the division. Her scores were 82-93--175.
