Burkburnett beat Lampasas 9-3 on Thursday in the opener of a best-of-three bi-district softball series.
Game two is scheduled for April 30 in Stephenville. Game three, if needed, will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Brock High School, which also was the site of game one.
