A barbecue cookoff this weekend will help Lampasas Area Go Texan put more money toward scholarships for graduating seniors.
The local chapter hosts its annual cookoff Oct. 9-10 at Texas Legato Winery, 2935 FM 1478, one of its largest fundraisers of the year. Committee member Tina Loeffler, who has been involved since the chapter’s founding in 2014, said the group has always put students first.
