FRIO COUNTY HONORS LATE SHERIFF A memorial bench has been placed at the Frio County Community Fishing Pond as a lasting tribute to the late Michael Morse.
Morse was elected Frio County sheriff in 2020 and served until his death in October 2024 after a battle with cancer. He is the son of Beatrice and the late Charles Morse Sr. of Lampasas.
