Two Lampasas doubles teams took first place at a big tournament hosted by Waco Midway last Friday.
The tournament included Franklin, the third-place team in Conference 3A this year; Conference 6A schools Waxahachie and Midway; and China Spring and Robinson, which are both good 4A programs, according to Lampasas head coach Kenneth Peiser.
“Most of the kids played some really good tennis,” he said.
