    The January sales tax rebate for the city of Lampasas fell $1,370 short of what it collected to start the previous year. That marks a dip of just under 1% from January 2025.

    The check for $242,301 is based on local sales made in November that were reported to the state comptroller before the end of December by businesses that file monthly.
