A 16-year veteran of the Kempner Volunteer Fire Department, Justin Martin, has been named the department’s new fire chief.
Martin accepted the position at last week’s Kempner VFD Board of Directors meeting. He will take the reins from former chief Alan Mainville, who will shift to a role on the board.
