The Kempner City Council received good news on its 2022-2023 fiscal-year independent audit during its meeting last week.
Jon Watson, of BrooksWatson and Co., revealed the city had garnered a clean audit, earning an “unmodified” opinion. Watson credited city staff, including City Secretary Hayleigh Talasek, for their efforts.
