I am not a resident of Kerrville, Texas, or even Kerr County, but we were in Kerrville on July 3 and July 4. We were far from the Guadalupe River and quite safe from the flood.However, given the number of camps, recreational facilities and people living near that river, I cannot understand why there has not long since been an adequate station to monitor the water level of that river 24/7...
