The city of Lampasas had a good first quarter in terms of sales tax revenues received, but rebates have slipped since then.
The Texas Comptroller’s Office has released July allocations to the cities, counties and special-purpose districts that levy a local sales tax. The July payments are based on sales made in May by businesses that report their tax monthly.
