Kempner council hears requests on police, park funding

Kempner City Manager Rebecca Ramos and Police Chief Heriberto Rodriguez provided their 2025-26 fiscal year budget requests to Kempner City Council members in Tuesday’s regular meeting.
The council had no action items, other than what was listed on the consent agenda.
Councilman Dan Long was absent from proceedings.
Most of the 10-minute meeting was dedicated to a budget workshop.
