Cooper Spring Nature Park was the site recently for a Birding Basics 101 session with Jimma Byrd, a Master Naturalist and expert birder from San Saba.
Also joining the group for a bird-observation walk was Jordan Herbst of Adamsville, another knowledgeable birder.
Byrd and Herbst recorded in the Ebird system the birds identified that morning either via sound or sighting.
