Council members, judicial officials take oath of office in Kempner

    The Kempner City Council swore in three aldermen during Tuesday’s regular meeting, including one new member to serve the unexpired Place 5 term vacated by Debbie Hernandez.

    The only action item was approval of an ordinance allowing the city to impose a fee on individuals who fail to appear in court.
