The Lampasas County Sheriff’s Office has a K-9 unit in training. The dog’s name is Blazer, an ode to the Chevrolet SUV.
The year-and-a-half-old Belgium Malinois dog is completing its six-week training alongside trainer Shane Menz of Saber Working Dogs. Last week, the dog completed its first official week of training in McKinney.
