Garrett makes justice her priority behind the bench

    After serving as a social worker, defense attorney and prosecutor, newly elected 27th District Court Judge Debbie Garrett is settling into her role behind the bench.

    Garrett assumed office in January, taking over for Judge John Gauntt who had reached mandatory retirement age.
