    Precinct 3 Commissioner Shad Hill of Lometa is still settling into his new role one month after he assumed office.

    Hill worked for four years as a road hand in Precinct 2 before his win in the Republican Primary last March against Lewis Bridges earned him the county commissioner seat.

    Hill said those years working for the county are paying dividends.
