Free session offered on night sky viewing, telescope techniques

The Lampasas County Friends of the Night Sky and Vision Lampasas will host a free Telescope Clinic, conducted by astronomer Phill Ostrof, on Jan. 4, 2025, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Ostrof will conduct this family friendly clinic for area residents on a dark sky friendly property located west of Lampasas on FM 580 (Nix Road). Directional signage will be placed along the roadway prior to the event.
