Kempner council considers rules for in-city use of firearms, fireworks

Fireworks displays and the discharge of firearms within city limits were major topics of discussion during the Dec. 10 Kempner City Council meeting, which included some input from community members.
Council members decided to uphold an ordinance restricting fireworks within the city limits and directed the city manager to draft a new ordinance regulating the discharge of firearms.
