Doggy Day Out: Animal shelter initiates community competition

    The Lampasas Animal Shelter is going within the community with a special challenge that encourages volunteering and pet adoption.

    The Community Doggy Day Out Challenge is taking place through Nov. 27, and it encourages businesses and families to compete for the benefit of local dogs.
