Woman pulled to safety from Lampasas River

A 45-year-old woman holding onto a tree limb in the Lampasas River was rescued last week by a Lampasas County sheriff’s deputy and a Kempner police officer.LCSO Chief Deputy Kodie Greenburg said medical evaluation by Hamilton EMS showed the woman sustained no injuries.According to Greenburg, the sheriff’s office received a call at 3:15 p.m. May 10 from a Lampasas County woman ...
