The report from the April 3 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 325, compared to 338 last sale and 323 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were steady. Slaughter cows were $1-$3 higher, and slaughter bulls were steady on a very limited test.
Feeder cattle accounted for 78%. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 22%.
