The report from the March 27 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 338, compared to 330 last sale and 305 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were $5-$7 lower. Slaughter cows were steady; slaughter bulls were $3-$5 higher.
Feeder cattle accounted for 72%. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 28%.
