The Lampasas City Council canceled the May municipal election and approved a number of small business items during a special called meeting on Friday.
After cancellation of the regular meeting set for March 11, City Secretary Becky Sims said the council held a called meeting on Friday at noon to take care of a few time-sensitive items.
