Lampasas residents should expect thunderstorms on Friday night and high winds to prevail on Sunday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
After a week of sunny skies, the NWS lists a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms for the community after noon on Friday. At night, thunderstorms show a 90% probability of occurrence.
