Area residents prepare to welcome eclipse visitors

With just 72 days left until the 2024 solar eclipse in April, many Lampasas County residents are looking to host visitors for what could be the county’s event of the century.
With Lampasas ranked by Astronomy Magazine as the No. 6 spot in North America to view the total solar eclipse, thousands of visitors are expected to arrive for the phenomenon. Area residents are prepared to play host.
