TxDOT outlines options for U.S. 281
The Texas Department of Transportation hosted an open house Tuesday evening at New Covenant Church to outline its U.S. Highway 281 expansion plans that will extend from Lampasas to Evant.
TxDOT presented five different routes to replace the current 28-mile segment of U.S. 281 that stretches from the U.S. 183 exit to Lometa all the way north to the Hamilton County line in Evant.
