Hornets end their football season with a dominant win

    Lometa ended its 2023 football season on a high note, defeating the Santa Anna Mountaineers 43-20 Friday night.

    The Hornets -- with a 5-5 record, 2-2 in district play -- finished third in their district.

    Lometa forced four Mountaineer turnovers during the game and used a strong ground game to prevail in the season finale.
