In a called meeting that followed two short public hearings, the Lampasas County Commissioners Court approved its 2023-2024 fiscal-year budget Wednesday evening.
This year’s general fund expenditures total $11.1 million, an 8% increase from a year ago.
The Commissioners Court also adopted a new county tax rate, which will drop to its lowest number since 2003.
