Historic water lows recorded amidst ongoing drought

The comment from Aaron Able, Brazos River Authority water services manager, was a grim one.
“We’ve not seen Belton Lake levels this low essentially since the latter part of 1971,” Able said.
The news about Stillhouse Hollow Lake, from which almost everyone in Lampasas County receives their water, is similar.
