The report from the July 12 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 708, compared to 487 last sale and 826 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers were $7-$10 higher; heifers $3-$5 lower. Slaughter cows $3-$5 higher, and slaughter bulls
$1-$3 higher.
Feeder cattle accounted for 80%. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for
20%.
