Following a stormy and hot weekend, meteorologists have predicted more extreme heat and possible storm activity to start the week.
The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory Monday at 4:48 a.m., effective until 8 p.m. Tuesday for the entire North and Central Texas region, which includes Lampasas and surrounding counties.
