The Texas Department of Transportation hosted an open-house meeting Thursday evening at Taylor Creek Elementary School to go over U.S. Highway 190 preliminary expansion plans.
The project from TxDOT will convert U.S. 190 into a freeway with frontage roads on each side. The project will extend 2.3 miles, starting at FM 2657 and finishing a little over a mile past Big Divide Road.
