Committee invites everyone to ‘Spring home’

After year-long preparations for the largest festival Lampasas has to offer, the Spring Ho Committee is ready to invite residents and visitors alike to join in the activities that celebrate the hometown atmosphere of the city.

HOP bus could be history due to reduced funding

The Lampasas County Commissioners Court faces a tough decision over the future for the Hill Country Transit District, also known as “the HOP,” due to changes in funding. The HOP provides public transportation options for five cities and nine different counties.

New mural honors annual festival

Vision Lampasas will celebrate its newest mural Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Spring Ho Festival Building, 304 Spring Ho Ave. The public is invited to the official unveiling of this one-of-a-kind art piece dedicated to the city’s annual Spring Ho festival. Refreshments will be served.

Officers apprehend suspect at Cooper Springs Nature Park

Lampasas area law enforcement apprehended a criminal suspect this morning who allegedly fled on foot into Cooper Spring Nature Park. Lampasas Police Department officials confirmed that a search was conducted inside Cooper Springs Nature Park at 10:11 a.m. after a suspect fled into the area on foot.
