City looks to fill several positions

Lampasas may be soon to hire a new city manager and Economic Development Corp. director, officials said last Friday.

Early voting period inches closer

Monday was the last day for Lampasas County residents to register to vote in the upcoming General Election on Nov. 5.Now, residents have three different avenues — vote by mail, vote early and vote on Election Day — to make their selections for candidates.Oct.

Daniel Hodges, 71, died on Oct. 3, 2024, in Lampasas.He is survived by his wife, Dianna Hodges; and two daughters, Annah Hodges and Karen Limmer. The service for Daniel Hodges will be held Oct. 7 at 11 a.m. at First Street Church of Christ, with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
