The city of Lampasas’ annual tree-trimming program begins Monday to clear hanging limbs and encroaching branches in three city sections.
Assistant City Manager Ryan Ward said the program has gone on annually for at least five years, if not several more.
“We contract through LCRA [Lower Colorado River Authority], and it’s usually about a five-year contract,” he said....
