With 30 years of law enforcement experience under his belt, new Lometa Police Chief Ronnie Strain is ready to sail the department in the right direction.
Strain was sworn into his role Aug. 5 at the Lometa City Council’s regular meeting.
“I saw the turnover here in Lometa and said, ‘I can go and try to help them with the experience that I have,’ ” he said.
