The city of Lampasas’ juvenile curfew ordinance no longer will be in effect come Sept. 1.
In June, Gov. Greg Abbott signed House Bill 1819 into law, taking away the authority from cities to enforce curfews.
Lampasas is the only municipality in the county to have an active juvenile curfew.
