Thirteen days after being rushed to the hospital, 9-year-old Luke Sappenfield and his 15-year-old brother Hunter are on the road to recovery.
On March 19, the boys were rescued after a tunnel they dug along the Lampasas River behind the River Place neighborhood collapsed on top of them. The injured brothers were transported to McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple.
