March sales tax revenues take a dip in area cities

After a month in which all area cities posted a sales tax percentage gain, revenues recorded in March tell a different story. Only about half the entities saw increases this period.
March allocations are based on sales made in January by businesses that report tax figures monthly to the state comptroller.
