Having a dream is often the first step toward accomplishing a major goal.
For the Lometa Volunteer Fire Department, one of its biggest dreams has become reality. A second fire station, located at 201 E. Olive, opened for service Sunday with a ribboncutting ceremony and a barbecue fundraiser.
