The Lometa City Council met in regular session Monday evening at City Hall, addressing employee benefits and taking time to honor a city staff member.
In new business, the council addressed recent price changes to the city’s employee health insurance plan and new benefits.
“Insurance is going up 11.5% per person,” City Secretary/Municipal Clerk Stephanie Sweet said. “It usually goes up 5%.”
