Local sales tax rebates show modest gains for 2024
Sales tax receipts for the city of Lampasas showed strong gains in April, October and December, with much smaller percentage increases in June, July, September and November. After a shaky first quarter, the city of Lampasas has posted better economic results for the remainder of the year and will close out December with a small gain over 2023.
Lampasas ends 2024 with cumulative sales tax rebates of $2.97 million – up 2% from the $2.91 million it garnered on local sales last year.
